Sterling ladies Race for Life
On a damp Summer Sunday the Sterling ladies gathered in Campbell Park, Milton Keynes, to take part in a Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research. The early start and drizzly conditions did nothing to dampen the Team's spirits - walking, jogging or running, each of our ladies managed to successfully cross the finish line (eventually)! A huge well done to everyone who took part, in both the 5k and the 10k races! The Team organised several fund raising schemes, including a cake sale, sponsorship and outright extortion. By fair means and foul they raised over £600 and absolutely looked the part in pink!
In fact they have thrown down the gauntlet to the Sterling men to come up with a cunning sponsorship plan of their own! Anybody got any ideas that don't involve darts and exercise?
